Meet Our Clinical Director & CEO

Dr. Koroma FATU, RN, CRNP-PMHNP

BOARD – CERTIFIED PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER, ASN, BSN, MSN. DPN – Doctoral Nursing Practice (DNP) at Walden University.

Dr. Koroma Fatu is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner CRNP-PMH, graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Walden University. She also holds a Doctorate of Advanced Nursing Practice at Walden University.

The Clinical Director & Chief Executive Officer has over ten years of Clinical Psychiatric experience. Specifically, she has been a Clinical Forensic Psychiatric Charge Nurse at the State of Maryland’s only Forensic Psychiatric hospital since 2010 till date.

The Clinical Director has extensive hands-on experience with extraordinary competencies dealing with patience suffering with depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, dissociative disorders, and many others.

She has an extensive experience in the use of multifaceted approach in the treatment of patients with mental health issues and behavioral problems. She is an expert in the following treatment methods:

  • Psychotherapy
  • Cognitive Therapy
  • Hypnosis
  • Art Therapy
  • Medications for Symptom Relief, etc.

The Clinical Director believes that every patient is unique and consequently follows the evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition. She also ensures the quality of care, and open communication lines between all members of the healthcare team. Dr. Koroma FATU has strong clinical skills, excellent communication skills, enhanced by her natural ability to build rapport with patients, and families.

Meet the Chief Operation Officer

Julius TAKA, LPN, BSN, MA, PhD

Dr. Julius TAKA is Licensed Practical Nurse at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center of Maryland department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Dr. Taka has more than two decades of healthcare and medical research experience, 10 years of which has been in Government and Healthcare Administration.

Dr. Julius Taka is an extraordinary healthcare administrator. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with the Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from Regis University in Denver Colorado in 2010. While enrolled at the University of Colorado Denver for his graduate degree, he served as the Pioneer Administrator of Agape Healthcare Community, LLC in Aurora Colorado. Dr. Taka is a holder of master’s degree in political science with emphasis in Local Government Administration from University of Colorado, Denver, and a PhD in Christian Organizational Leadership from Newburg Theological Seminar, in Newburg, Indiana.
